Gundam Creator Yoshiyuki Tomino Warns Japanese Studios Against Emulating Disney

  • Concerns about Digital Animation: Tomino expresses concern about the industry's shift from hand-drawn to digital animation. Drawing a parallel with Disney's experience, he warns that a similar transition in Japan may lead to a dip in the quality of anime productions.

  • Impact of Modernization on Creativity: The veteran anime creator critiques the modernization of work environments, specifically citing his dissatisfaction with the state-of-the-art facility provided by Bandai Namco Group.
