Midjourney dropped some new functionality that allows you to create a character and consistently re-use that character across new prompts.
Essentially, you can create a character to be a mascot, and prompt it to meet your needs later as you do more with it.

This was the use case that many models were hoping would never happen. Essentially hiring a professional model just became harder than ever to justify. Quite sad, my hope is that people opt for hiring real people to fill these roles instead of AI.
While this will enable creatives to do more, sadly this will disrupt industries and people’s livelihood.
